Have you ever thought that we are lucky, actually ? we still have our lovely parents complete, get scholarship in a good school. How about they who stay in an orphanage, who some of them maybe an orphanage they do not live with their parents, even sometimes they face many problems and difficulties to pay the schools fee, because they are so many children who need to be managed.
We are in Sampoerna Academy, have L2L program, which one of the programs is doing the community service, for example to orphanage. In this program we do our own effort to earn money which are all of that will be given to the people who really need, they are the people in orphanage.
One of our methods is to create a handicraft from flannel fabric, which can be pin, alphabets arrangement of our name, or beautiful key ring, or gift which can hang in the door of our room or inside our car.
The buyers which the majorities are students of SMAN Sumsel usually ordered for their friends outside of school, not only for them. More and more the errand produce result more money that we can earn to help the orphan. Sometimes, some of them protest and complain when they need do wait for long time to get their errand, because we do not have a lot of leisure time to make it, because we also need to finish our homework and study.
Despite of all, we are all satisfied of our result and then we gave it to the orphanage, for them to buy school books or pay the school fee. We are also happy when they are all happy of our gift. Hopefully it can increase their motivations to study.
From this activity, we all learn that human is a social individual we need helped from the other, and to put care to each other is important. It can make us proud and become a better human when we can help the other who are not as lucky as us, isn’t it ?

I'm sorry, I haven't written for a long time, I've been busy studying and have a lot of examination in this week.

Anyway, I've heard that you haven't chosen the after school activities yet, because you feel confused. So, which club that will you join ?

Club activities are activities that can develop student's skill and knowledge. One of activities in our school is ICT club. It is very interesting when you learn about a lot of program in computer, it's usually held in ICT lab every Friday in the afternoon. We can learn about software, hardware, data and also internet. This is very useful for our life, not only giving advantage for this time, but also for our future. We can easily get the job if we have a deep understanding about that, you will feel enjoyed, because we are in friendly atmosphere everyone will relaxed to join this activity.

The Freedom Writers is a drama adaptation film which tell the story about students in Woodrow Wilson high school which has complex problem in their life,based on the true story.This movie was very excited me and also inspirated.Gruwell’s effort to change those all students was very marvellous,even there are many obstacles that she faced along her journey.She was very impression one,because she is a hard worker person who has a willingness to do everything for her students’ better future without thinking about the consequences that can harmed her.

This movie takes place between 1992-1995 at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach,California,United State.Erin Gruwell (Hilary Swank) who become the new teacher in a class which is “beyond one’s conception” extracted to change they are all become better students,not an ‘unteachable’ students any longer.Firstly,she had many difficulties in faced her students with their many attitudes which is unacceptable.Eva Benitez (April Lee Hernandez) a Hispanic girl and narrator for much of the film and Sindy Ngor find themselves in the same convenience store.Gruwell determined to reform her students,so that she takes two part-time jobs and spend more time at school to the disappointment of her husband,Steve Gruwell (Scott Glenn).She takes them to the Museum of Tolerance.When they reading The Diary of Anne Frank,they invite Miep Gies (Patt Carrol),the woman who protected Anne Frank at that time.A very big changing is happen in one of her student,Marcus (Jason Finn).When he said that Miep Gies is a hero,she denied it and she said,“Everyone can be hero inside their self,so long as you can do the right things”.

There are many impression lesson that we can get.This movie teach us that we must optimist and always try hard.The good things can inspiring many people,and the difficulty is the beginning of happiness.Never give up and don’t make the differences confining each other,but make it as a diversity to united.

The person who like motivation and education will love this movie.

Dear Mom,

I am sorry I have been busy studying for my assignment and exam. How are you, Mom? I am fine here. I really miss you. Everythings are different here. I must do all of things by myself. Sometimes, I am too tired to do all my activities.

I have full schedule from 7.00 a.m until 05.30 p.m including the school's club. I prefer to join ICT club because I think it can make me more intellectual. Sometimes, homework and all my assignment make me dizzy even I was confused to make my priority.

I have sport club every saturday morning. We must gather at 06.00 a.m in the hall. After that we jogging together and do gymnasctic. I join hockey club. It is new experience for me because I never play it before.

We must tidy up our room before we go to school. There will be room checking by duty rooster everyday. Lala, Meisya, and Theresia are my roomates. We must get up earlier to tidy up our beds and all of our stuffs.

All activities here make me become more discipline and independent person. However I still feel home sick when I get bad mood. But it is new challenge for me to make me better.

Teenager vs Stress
Did you know about stress condition? Have you ever feel that? Stress is normal psychological condition of our body to hostile environment. It can occur easily. It Is the condition when someone get symptom, like anxiety, shoulder pain or headache. It can be danger if we let it become serious. Usually happen when someone is not in good condition, such as got failed or face examination.
Everyone in this world will easily get stress if they are being forced. Especially for teenager that still have unstable emotion. They easy to get stress and give up. When they are getting stress, they can’t control their selves and their emotion.
This condition will influence to their lifestyle. They will not care to their health and their lifestyle. They will just eat whatever foods without consider about the nutrition, as long as they take in the food into their body. Teenager also have some problem in lifestyle, like difficult to take a rest because of anxiety feeling. It must be control with the suitable way. Just like feel relax in every condition and solve every problem without any worried.

Leader Ship camp

About a week ago, we did camp in Agrowisata, from March 30th to April 1st. We did so many leadership activities. On the first day, we only did a usual activities, likes games ( Out Bound ), seminar, built our tents and in the evening we performed many creative performances that we create ourselves . On the Second day, we did more activities. On this day we should present our Plan about Community Services, after that we did Flying fox, find the coin in the swimming pool. And the last day we started the activity at 02.00 a.m with Night Scavenger Hunt. This event was very memorable for us, and continued with Bonfire. After that we had Raft Building and protecting candle from water. Then after all of activities finish, we just took off the tents and ready to go home
